 SECTION 1: "THE MOVEMENTS OF THE EARTH".

🌎WE START WITH THE EARTH MOVEMENTS!!!🌎

ACTIVITY 1: For this activity, we will move to the school playground and we will be in an area where the sun is shining and there is shade. Once there, each child will draw a chalk line on the ground in the place where he/she goes from sun to shade and next to it he/she will put his/her name. We will return to the classroom to continue with another activity, while the time passes so that we can observe the movement of the Earth that will be reflected with the movement of the shadow. This activity will help to learn about the movements of the Earth.

OBJECTIVE: To learn about the movements of the Earth.        

                               

ACTIVITY 2: In this activity, we are going to work on rotational and translational motion. As we already know, rotational motion is responsible for day and night:

While the translational motion makes possible the different seasons of the year:

For this, we are going to explain it through a story, which tells us about a year with the protagonist "Sara", through that year different events will happen in which the children will be able to differentiate how time passes and in turn, how the different seasons of the year happen. The Earth turns and turns without stopping!

STORY: ¨Sara's best year¨. 

Today Sara slept very nervously, because she was anxiously waiting for the Three Wise Men. When she woke up in the morning she went running to her living room to finally open all her presents, she knew that the Three Wise Men were going to bring her favorite toy since she had been so good all year long.  

-Sara: "How nice mom and dad, it was the car I wanted!"

But something very special was going to happen, Sara's parents had to give her some very important news for her, and that was that..... She was going to become a big sister, mom was expecting a little brother for Sara. As we were in winter that morning it was very cold and to celebrate the news Sara's dad made a very hot chocolate.

Sara was very happy today, when she looked out of the window she saw how her garden was full of flowers of all colors, spring had arrived! She ran downstairs to tell her parents about it and also went to give a big kiss to the new baby brother who was inside mommy's belly. Sara's mom's belly had grown quite a bit. Besides, Sara has some very important news to tell us, her baby brother will be named Carlos!  

When summer came and school was over, Sara started packing her suitcase to go on vacation to the beach with her grandparents. She was very happy because she could already feel her baby brother's kicks in mommy's belly. One morning at the beach, Sara made a sand castle for her little brother. 

Sara: "Look grandpa, I made this castle so that when Carlos arrives he can play with me".  

Sara was very happy because her first day of school in 4 years had arrived, and she could tell her classmates that her brother would be born soon, and that his name would be Carlos.  

With the arrival of autumn the trees in Sara's garden lost all their leaves, but a long awaited news happened.... Carlos was born! Sara was very excited and happy with the arrival of her baby brother, and promised to take good care of him. 

Today Sara and her family have been decorating the Christmas tree at home, she is very happy because Christmas has arrived, although winter has also arrived and it is very cold. 

Sara was very excited because the last day of the year had arrived, her dad was explaining to her that today the earth finished going around the sun and that it had taken 365 days to do it and that also, this trip that the earth made around the sun was called: translation movement. Sara was very surprised, because in one year very important things had happened to her. 

Sara now says goodbye to us, but she would also like to hear what other children do during a whole year.

OBJECTIVE: To get to know the translation movement through the initial story.

ACTIVITY 3: This activity will consist of explaining in a more visual way the seasons of the year through a video. Afterwards, a mural will be made in which the 4 seasons of the year will be drawn, with the different months within each one, and also, photos of each one of them will be placed so that they can also see that everyone's birthdays are passing by. Then, each one of them will stick different stickers on the mural according to the season of the year, with drawings, for example: an umbrella in summer, chestnuts in autumn, Christmas tree in winter, etc. Through this cooperative activity, everyone will see that during the time it takes for the earth to go around the sun, many events occur.

SECTION 2: "THE SOLAR SYSTEM".

🌟 WE WORK THE SOLAR SYSTEM IN SPACE!!!🌟

ACTIVITY 1: To introduce and bring the children closer to the solar system and observe their initial knowledge, the teacher will arrange the students in a "half moon" and he/she will place him/herself in the center. After having done this organization, the teacher will question the students with questions such as: What is space, What is the Solar System, Have you seen the stars, Do you know the different planets? These questions will make the children curious and start a conversation about the topic, so they will be allowed to express their opinions and doubts. After expressing everything they know, the teacher will show them pictures about space, how the planets are arranged, where the sun, the moon, and the Earth are located, what are the elements of the Solar System, etc.

OBJECTIVE: To know the students' previous knowledge about the solar system.

ACTIVITY 2: Continuing the activity, to learn more about the Solar System, they will make a mural on a continuous paper with the help of the teacher. This mural will already be drawn, and the children will be in charge of coloring the planets of the Solar System with plasticine of different colors (so that they can see that they are thick) and the stars will be painted with yellow tempera, to learn about the elements that are located in space (planets, stars, Sun, etc.). Once this mural is finished, it will be hung on the assembly wall.

OBJECTIVE: To learn about the Solar System by making a mural.

ACTIVITY 3: In this activity we will sing to the children a song with which they will understand the order in which the planets are arranged in the solar system in relation to their proximity to the sun. Once we have listened to the song, we will sing it together.

SECTION 3: "NATURAL PHENOMENA"

⛅WE LEARN ABOUT NATURAL PHENOMENA!!!🌋

ACTIVITY 1: To carry out the activity, we are going to work on one of the phenomena that occur on Earth, such as the volcano. For this, we will use colored plasticine or clay, fairy, baking soda, vinegar, plates, glasses, napkins, edible coloring, etc. The activity will be done in teams (assigned at the tables). If you want to know how to do it, these are the steps:

OBJECTIVE: To learn about the origin of the volcano through experimentation.

ACTIVITY 2: In this activity, we are going to perform an experiment in which, through manipulation, the children are going to realize the phenomenon of fog. For this, they will need a transparent plastic cup, a strainer, ice, and hot water (which will be poured into the cup by the teacher to avoid any kind of problem). The children will work in teams and will have to put the ice cubes, the strainer and wait for this experiment to take place. Through this activity the children will be able to observe how this natural phenomenon occurs.

OBJECTIVE: To represent the phenomenon of fog through their own manipulation.

ACTIVITY 3: Once we know the consequences that occur when the rain meets the sun, we discover a new phenomenon, the rainbow. The rainbow is composed of seven different colors. For this we are going to make a "scape room" in the classroom, in which through different clues they can discover what colors the rainbow is composed of. The activity will consist of the students finding seven clues, which will indicate the colors of the rainbow. To do this, the students will be divided into groups of 4. Each clue will be hidden in different places in the classroom (under the table, behind the door, etc.). The clues to guess the colors will be hidden in different images, for example: a picture of the sea (blue), a fire truck (red), etc. Once they have found the 7 clues, they will know the different colors that make up the rainbow.

To finish the activity, the teacher will draw a rainbow on a mural and the students will be in charge of coloring it with their hands dipped in paint. A reference image will be placed in order to color the rainbow in the correct order.

OBJECTIVE: To discover through experimentation the seven colors of the rainbow.

SECTION 4: "THE CONTINENTS AND THE INTERIOR OF THE EARTH".

WE KNOW THE INTERIOR OF THE EARTH AND ITS CONTINENTS!

ACTIVITY 1: To perform this activity and begin to know the continents, we will use plasticine and sheets of paper where the different continents are drawn. The activity will be done in groups in the classroom. Each table will have a template of one of the five continents on which the children will have to superimpose plasticine following the figure of the assigned continent. Finally, when all the groups of children have finished the plasticine figure, we will place all the figures on a mural in which the world will be previously drawn, the function of the children is to place each continent in the corresponding place on the map, thus knowing the place where each one is located in the world.

OBJECTIVE: To know the different continents.

ACTIVITY 2: To begin this activity, we are going to hold an assembly to introduce the inner layers that make up the Earth. First we are going to show the children different images so that they can observe that our Earth is divided into inner layers. Then, the teacher will explain each of the layers so that the children have previous knowledge to be able to work on the following activities. To finish this activity, the teacher will place one of the images shown on the class panel and the children will have to recognize and point out the inner layers of the earth as the teacher names them.

OBJECTIVE: To know the inner layers of our Earth.

ACTIVITY 3: The following activity will be carried out, which consists of explaining the layers of the Earth, we will begin by coloring the rice that we are going to use, mainly we will paint a little yellow rice representing the first layer from the inside, then we will paint it orange for the second layer. After these two layers we will paint the other two, first in red and finally in black. The children will pour the rice into the glass in the order mentioned above. Once they have put all the layers, they will be able to observe them clearly from outside the glass, so they can assimilate the learning of these concepts much better.

OBJECTIVE: To know the inner layers of the Earth.

SECTION 5: "ENVIRONMENT"

🌱HOW DO WE TAKE CARE OF THE EARTH ?🌱.

ACTIVITY 1: This activity will begin by explaining in the assembly the importance of recycling for the care of the environment (animals, plants, seas, forests, etc.), and how we should help, by recycling in the corresponding containers, not throwing garbage in the street, not throwing garbage in the sea, etc. In order for the children to understand the concept of recycling, a short story about the topic will be shown and after watching this video the children will be asked questions about it.

Environment

OBJECTIVE: To know the importance of recycling. 

ACTIVITY 2: To introduce the activity we are going to color the "recycling" template of the CHROMVILLE SCIENCE application, they will have to color the different garbage containers in an appropriate way, so we will have already explained what is the color of each container in order to recycle correctly (paper: blue, plastic: yellow, organic: gray and glass: green). 

The activity we are going to do is called: "Do you know which is my place? For the realization of the same we will need 4 cardboard boxes, which will be painted blue, yellow, gray and green, representing the 4 recycling bins. The students will be divided into groups of 4, and they will have to match as many objects as possible for recycling. That is, they must place the objects in the corresponding container, depending on the material they are made of. The group that has recycled the most objects correctly will be the winner.

The objects to be used for recycling will be some of the following: waste paper, aluminum foil, nut shells, plastic bottles, glass juice bottles, yogurt cups, detergent bottles, cereal boxes, etc.

OBJECTIVE: To learn how to recycle individually each waste in its corresponding container.

ACTIVITY 3: To raise awareness among children about the need to take care of our environment, a "Scape Room" will be carried out, with different tests, specifically two, which they will have to overcome in a group way. To do this, groups of 5 students will be formed. In the first test, each group will have to find the pieces of the puzzle they have been given. These puzzles are of some animals that are in danger of extinction due to pollution, which are: polar bear, elephant, whale, panda bear and turtle. Once the pieces have been found, each group will have to form their puzzle and then we will move on to the next test. In the second test, the children will have to help the different animals, in this case the polar bear, elephant, whale and turtle that are in the playground by removing all those elements that hinder their lives. The polar bear will find a lot of garbage around him, the turtle will have different plastics entangled in its body, the whale will have a large net in one of its fins, and finally the elephant will have a rope entangled in one of its legs. There will be four of each of the animals named above.

OBJECTIVE: To communicate to the students the need to take care of animals in danger of extinction due to pollution.
